I bought this ignitor used on ebay,
http://www.rcplanet.com/associated_factory_team_glow_49731_prd1.htm
but the battery isn't 100%. It looks like c-cell battery but it's a little smaller the one in the ignitor. Any idea where i can get it. Thanks.

It is called a sub-c sized battery. It should be the same sized battery as what is used to make the packs used to run electric RC's. Your LHS should be able to hook you up with a replacement single cell

Def a Sub C - I have two igniters this size, one by dynamite and one by HPI - they both use a batt like this - 1300mah NiCd -

I've seen bigger capacity in the same size, 1700mah I believe.

could you use an ib 4200 in a glow ignitor?

Glo igniter needs a NiMh/NiCd batt, but other than that, size is not an issue long as it fits or can be made to fit.

My main igniter is a Hobbico Hot Shot 2 - that bad boy is a 5000mah NiCd D cell. Its a little heavy, but it never fails to light a plug. Charge it no more that once a month and it always has plenty left. That IB should make a good one.

Yes i guess u could because there the proper size. I think the regular chargers are ok with the ni-mh(well i hope).

get a hobbico quick field charger.......it charges any rc batteries and has amps adjustments there too...also has an allarm that beeps when the charge is done.......you can charge the radio & receiver at the same time.......i use it to charge my glow igniter batteries too........its a lot better faster than wall chargers that takes 10-15hrs to charge batteries......the quickcharger is about 40$ but it charges most batteries in about 15-20 minutes.......

Yeah that should be fine, its just a cheap 3000mAh NiMH.
- Your organal charger that come with them is rubbish, but it wont be any worse with the diffrent battery. It will just take a lot longer, as its a much higher capacity battery.
