My understanding is the spur/CB gear pitch is diff for Revo and Tmaxx so they are not compatible if mixed. However, if you change as a set - both CB and spur, you should be OK.

the difference specified here is between a revo 2.5r and revo 3.3. I think it would be the same for tmaxx and revo as long as the tmaxx is either 2.5R or 3.3, as they both have the revo etup.
Thanks guys, I ended up going to a LHS and they looked it up for me.
Everything is a go, now I just sit and wait till they get here:)

Sorry, I didn't realize ques was striclty about Revo. Now I understand your earlier reply. Have not owned a Revo (yet).
Yep, if its 2.5R or 3.3 they're same setup.

It definatly fit's because I had a 2.5 with the Robinson spur and up'ed to a 3.3 and everything works.
Got the spur gear set, its pretty sweet. Now I just have to tune my Revo, it wont run for some odd reason :(.

Test the Glow plug and replace the Glow plug if needed. If you flooded the engine pull it and drain the excess fuel from the engine.
Most common problem for "it wont run for some odd reason :(" is the glow plug or the battery pack had enough juice to turn over the engine and but not enough to properly fire the Glow Plug.
I have done away with the Blue wire on all 3 of my Traxxas using the Easy Start system and use a Glow starter these days. They start faster and I have less problems.
You are exactly right, it was the glow plug. It was a big ball of melted mush. I swapped plugs and took off the E-Z wire and used a glow igniter to, I cant stand the E-Z start system. It ran like a champ, now I have to adjust the shift points and it will be set.

The Easy start system is great on the Traxxas trucks and cars but the blue wire bytes. Do not bash the easy start because the other option is a pull starter. I have seen so many people break a pull starter. I had a few but never pulled the string out far enough to break them but many newbees do.
I would not give up a starter system on any of my R/Cs for a pull starter. I do not have any R/Cs these days that require a pull starter.
They start by Starter Box or some other battery controlled system that does not require a pull starter.
Thats what I meant, the blue wire deffinately bites. Thats what I cant stand about the EZ start.
As for pull starters, personally, I like them:)
