I think that thing will fly with that engine. But then again he said 1 more gallon before needing a rebuild.

I think it is a good deal, I am going to resell it for like 350 or so, and sell the trx 2.5 for like 40, and a set of wheels for 35 or so.

You aren't going to be able to resell that truck with an almost worn out 24.7 for $350 bucks. Even if you clean up the truck, take better pictures and offer LESS in the auction, what makes you think you will squeeze out another $125 of the truck by itself?
I think it was a good deal, don't get me wrong, but not $195 (truck, 2.5, tires) resell good of a deal. You had a bunch of bidders on it. Obviously noone was willing to pay anymore then that even with all of that stuff, or it would have bid higher.
I think you could get $250 for the truck and parts if you cleaned it up, $50 for the TRX 2.5 and $25 for the stock wheels/tires. That's $325 for a $225 investment (not to mention the $20-25 shipping you paid, and the $15 for the ebay listings you will run). So, I think you will fairly make $60-65 when you are all said and done. That of course also assumes that there are no broken parts and that you won't have to buy any packing materials.
Not a bad deal by any means, but IMO, it might be more worth it to you then going through all of that work when it's over.

Yeah dale, I will try and sell it for more, I was going to replace the motor for a different .21 with less than a gallon on it...But you are right, The reason I said that is because I have seen other BB conversions sell for like 475.00, I will try and sell it for alot and if it doesn't sell I'll lower it...It is still worth a shot.
P.S, I like the name....King of the Hill rocks!

Unless you already have a .21 in your hands or can find one really cheap, I wouldn't bother replacing the engine. If you pay say $60-75 for a newer low use .21, you will cut into your margin bigtime and you probably won't get a dollar for dollar return on that.
$250 as is is better then $350 that you had to spend $100 to get a motor on.
Clean it up and take some pics of it. Maybe the auction pics are just not that great and I am being a pessimist.
