Hi everyone, some help and advise will be much appriaciated.I am thinking of buying a 1/5 scale gas truck.I am thinking it should be easier to run than the 1/10 nitro that i have now,The fuel is cheeper,no glow starter needed or burnt out plugs plus more running time.Do you guys have any experience with these and is there anything that I should worry about.
Thanks.

I suggest going the extra money it might cost and get a proper name brand 1/5 scale truck because i own a smartech veihcel and it sucks i have problems with the engine and i never seem to get it to work properly but that just my opinion some other people may have had a easy time with the them so its really up to you. parts support is nothing you can find parts once in a while on ebay and thats it

Thanks mate..this is exactly the stuff i need to know. These stuff are expensive and I don't want to get It wrong. We currently have a MTA4 which is great and I think a 4x4 system is good. The baja is a impressive looking machine but I like the look of the monster trucks.

This is the only large scale 4x4 truck that I know of. It is quite expensive though, and you have to buy an engine too.

Just throwing the idea at you but you can purchase a savage and the following kit http://www.neweramodels.com/cgi-bin/item.cgi?session_id=&part_id=2839 and you will have a 4x4 truck that i beleive 1/4 scale so that might suit you because it seems to be alot cheper then the 4x4 truck/buggy in the links above.
