Hi all, can someone give me an idea on what type of modified shocks are able to be put on the Tamiya Tnx. Im only using it for the back yard bashing, not racing.
Thanks

I ran mine early on with a set of Hot Bodies alum Tmaxx shocks something like these - I don't see the exact ones I was using (currently on a Tmaxx again) -

I used a set that was silver and was only about $55. They are threaded. The ball ends on the shocks are bigger than whats needed to mount on TNX, but you can use a piece of rubber tubing to mount them with. Matter of fact, the set I bought had the tubing already in it. Since Tmaxx shocks will work, you can run TRX Big Bores etc. Think I've read the Big Bores are a good shock for a TNX.
Mine runs PowerStrokes now and uses a diff set of pivot balls to mount without using the rubber tubing. I think I used 3x5mm pivot balls to make it work right. Not sure if you can find PowerStroke anymore.
