hello everybody
want your lights on a slight problem i am experiencing
i have just purchased a kyosho gx 28 engine that i installed in my mad force.
have been through approximately 2 litres of fuel sofar for the break in and now i'm starting to lean the engine and see what this baby has... however i can't get to set the idle correctly. it is too high. if i unscrew a bit the idle screw then i get good idle without the truck running forward, but right after a while the engine dies. it is still running rich (but with 37 degrees of temperature i'm afraid of leaning it more at least for the time being). my problem in other words is that i cannot get the engine to idle properly. i need to keep the idle screw tight enough but then the truck moves... any ideas / suggestions?
by the way i haven't touched the low end needle and all the fuel lines+filter are new.

If the engine won't idle properly then you should consider leaning the low-speed adjustment slightly. The factory settings are quite rich, so I supsect a little work on the mixture will do the trick.

thanx. will try that later today. when hitting the throttle i have a little hesitation in the beggining but the engine sounds like clearing when reving high. do u happen to know some default settings for this engine? have been looking in the forum but no luck... for some other engines there was talk for about half a milimeter from "flush" position...
also was unable to find 25% fuel that i used for breaking in and got 20%. will that make any significant difference?
