I am wanting to get a FM transmitter for my Rc10gt and b3, I am wondering which is the better. Futaba's 3PM or the 3PDF. I would really like a 3PJ, but that radio is a little out of my league. I am currently using a 2PL for the b3 and nothing on the GT. I have no tracks around here to race them on, so racing is not a factor.

The 3PDF isn't being made any more. The 3PM replaced it.

so they are pretty much the same, just the pdf is a little out dated! I was planning on the PM anyway. Thanks

You might check ebay - I recently scored a 3pjs to use as a backup for less than $100. Its a fully functioned radio. Just a thought....

The models available now are the 3PKS (replaced the 3PK) and 3PM.
Depends on how much you want to spend and what your goals are, really.
I own the Magnum Jrs (2PKA, 2PBKA, 2PDam)1024PCM, 3PJ, 3PK and 3PM which is the least expensive model roughly 129.00 with 3303 servo, 149.00 with 3305(metal gears) or 119. with no servo. I use the 9402 servo in B4.
The 3PM doesn't have some of the additional programming functions of the higher end radios.
