The Tractor tires on the older TMaxx work well in snow.

This is a set that will fit Revo Rims.
When running in Water/Snow you may experience problems with your electronics if they get wet. This will happen when the snow melts and water gets in your electronic components.
It is fun to run in snow but remember to dry your R/C afterwards because it will cause problems if you do not.

If you want to water proof your eletronics, get rid of reverse and opti drive cause that little snesor dos out alot and when it does you are screwed. THen just line the edges of your radio box with elericle tape so that when you put the cover on it makes a seal. THEn just do te same for the hrottle box. IF you run wiht your ody on you shouldn't have to amny problems.

I don't have any experience here, but for something like snow, you want large lugs, or many large pins. For this, Mulcher tires would work well, as would 40-series Dirt Hawgs or Big Joes. What I would think might happen with Paddles is that they might fill up and provide low traction, plus no traction in reverse. All of this is purely theoretical.

That is entirely untrue, a step pin would be good for ice, not snow, and you can not back up in snow anyways, the idea is to keep your tires speed up so that the paddels clean them selvs. Trust me, i live in montana nad i get 4+feet of snow, and i am a hardcore snowmobiler as well, so i know what works in snow and what doesn't. Ahd from the picture i ahve suplied, it is obvios i drive my revo in it.

Sorry, I am not questioning you or anything, I was just thinking that big lugs would work. So you want enough slipping to allow the snow that's packed in the paddles to be flung out, thereby allowing for traction?
btw, how much were the Imex rims?
