is my reciever shot

hello i was just cleaning up my rc10gt when i sprated some duratrax electric motor cleaner on the reciever to get some dirt off of it, now it doesn't work and it is getting power.all my other brands of motor cleaner never harmed my electronics before is this one different.its my first time using it .this is pissing me-off

You should wipe down your electronics with a rag so you have learned. Motor and Engine cleaners will seep into your electronics and cause problems. The fact this has never happened before is just that you were lucky.

Electronic and Nitro cleaners on Servos will dry out the grease that lubes them and any thing wet on a Receiver is just not good for them especially if you did not give it time to dry before the next use. Wet eletronics means shorting out the circuits on the delicate electronics. You may have fried the circuit board on the Receiver.
