Does anyone know of any racing stadiums in the ST. PAUL, MN area?.... I'm looking into opening up my own, but the problem is land, and a community that will let you race outdoors, w/ the noise, many locations do not work.

Unfortunately there is 2 locations in the Twin Cities that have closed it's doors or is about to. Hobby Zone in Eagan Minnesota will be done racing on August 29th. Twin Cities Hobby and Raceway in Brooklyn Park closed on June 15th.

Currently there is a Mini Racing track that will be opening in South St. Paul at Croatian Hall in October:

I and many racers from Hobby Zone and Twin Cities Hobby and Raceway are looking for a new track to race at in the near future for Off road racing.

They are not gonna have a track at the Plymouth location. It will be a aircraft / helicopter / general rc type of place. No R/C cars.

The physical track will be there a bit longer. It will be torn down before the store closes. John Bolten who runs the races is moving to Iowa at close to the end of August / Early September.

The racing will done at the Hobby Zone track on August 29th. No decision has been made to extend the racing into September. The physical store will be open until the end of September. Sometime before the end of September the track will be torn down...

For all the guys in MN, please check out the drag racing scene.

We have cars going over 80 mph every weekend.
Best part is, Roy and I own the system, and the school lets us run for next to nothing. No closing because the rent is too high!!!
20 cars entered at the last race. 3 classes. From "run what you brung" to Top Fuel Funny Car.
