Im gonna build my own saddle packs today. I have 2 6 cell packs that i am using in my xx4. i understand how to solder them and apply battery bars. My question is this. The length of wire that connects all the cells goes from the positive to negative side right?
Here is a diagram. The "[]" is a battery and the +/- is the corresponding side.
The "M/W" would be the battery bars connecting the cells:

llMllllll?lllllMl
+ - + - + -
[][][][][][]
- + - + - +
lllllWlllllWlllll

Hopefully that helps. Now where the question mark is thats where the jumper wire goes right. Just long enough to clear the bridge.

Both 6 cell packs are 3800 NIMH matched packs with the voltage at at least 1.21v per cell.

Thanks again!

I had to put the "l" there otherwise it didnt show up right

James, just make it long enough to clear the bridge. You answered your own question in that thread.
