OK
Now that you guys have had some wheel time with the new max system, what are some opinions for a system in a carpet oval racer (Cobra sprint car). Tight little track - very high bite. Guys have been running the 5.5 and a few have tried the 4.5 but could not get the gearing correct. Looking to start racing the sprint car this fall
Thanks for any suggestions

I'm a little bit biased, but I'll Vote for the Novak System.

Don't worry CharlieS,
I have several Novak systems and have had no problems (I race at Pete Russell's in Indiana). Just looking for opinions

Obviously Charlie hasn't tried a Max! lol, just kidding...
I vote for the Max, it just has so much more potential.

I would definately vote for the Mamba Max. For the same reason, whatever you want to do with it, it will be able to handle it.

I'm running both of them. The GTB-5.5 in m Factoryteam T4, this is almost too fast.
And the 5700MM in my MT2 conversion. I love them both.

On a small track I would go with the sensored gtb. More low end grunt and controllability (is that a word? :p ).

Have you driven the Mamba Max? It's quite smooth, and I have no doubt it will work well for me on the tight sections at my local track.

I vote for the GTB system. I have the 4.5 and it is so fast in my TC4 that the belted tires balloon so much that they hit the body at a little over half throttle. I need to get some foams for it to prevent this.
