Need a little help here I just bought a stampede with a super rooster and i was giving it one final look over before i sent the money but the super rooster seems to be missing the heat sinks? i hate to lose the rest of the deal though. I found the heat sinks for sale i just dont know why they'd be gone.

Heres a link to it. What would you do?

I hear ya, man. I just got a Cyclone TC w/o the heatsinks as well. Now, I know that it can run w/o them, but it's peace-of-mind knowing that there is a "little" little dicipation going on. With a Super Rooster, depending on how you're running it (# of motors, # of turns, # of cells, etc) would all be factors in the heat generated from the FETs.

With a Pede (6 or 7 cells), you wouldn't have too much to worry about. I've got a pede w/ a Super Rooster, too. My only issue is gearing down the motor so I don't "blue" the brushes from heat. :)

i ran a super rooster in a tamiya madfighter that had 8 cells and a 17 turn motor, and lemme tell ya, the heatsinks were a good idea to say the least
