Boating on Long Island NY

Anybody on here around Long Island, new York. Its amazing, we live on an island but everywhere i go less and less hobby shops are dealing with boats and less and less people are running them.

I'm from westchester, I was out of the hobby for a while, wondering if you know any good spots to run, or clubs in metro area.
