New to the forum. 1st post.
Have a Duratrax Intellispeed 12T Modified Reversing ESC, using a Futaba FP-R122JE Reciever, and a Futaba Magnum 2PL radio.
Have the speed controller set for antilock brakes turned on. Verified with LED flash pattern after setup. But I cant figure out how to get the brakes to engage. If I move the throttle to reverse, the truck just skids and eventually spins out. I believe I have the diff set correctly, as it turns very freely by hand.
How do I get the brakes to engage?

You can try putting in the reverse delay to longest value or disable reverse, but the anti-lock is kinda a joke. The antilock in the 2pL is also kinda a joke, neither works very well. It probably happens so fast that the esc thinks the car has stopped already and then goes into reverse.

you want to set it at med for the brakes.i have my 2pl with my quantum that way after trying low and high.it seems to no skid as much but stop you fast if you need to.it isnt meant to me jammed on from full throttle all the time.when you learn to drive and time your slow down to a tap on the brake deal.

Ben I have compensated for lack of brakes by better modulating the throttle out of the corner, I just think I could be faster with a little less agressive braking. I like to carry my momentum through the corners. I think if I had less braking, I would retain more rear wheel traction when entering a turn, making it easier to keep the rear end planted when accelerating out of a corner.
