I had one of those for my first dragster too. A guy wins bracket all the time with one at our track. The air cleaner doesn't have any foam in it Just the mesh wire. They are cheap and work great. I always use an on off switch. I know its a little weight but I'm not that crazy about weight. That car has a OS .18 TZ motor instead of a .21. Hooks up better at our track. Its in Hot Rod mag this month. R/C Driver last month and its been in a couple of other things as well. Hope to win concourse with it at the World Finals in 9 days now :) I had a top fuel car but I'm old and it was getting too fast for me to drive. This car is just right. Bigger so I can see it and a little slower so I can keep up with it. But its much harder to drive. A lot more correction during a run. Its pretty stable with the .18 not much drama. I have a sprint car for drama :) Since the runs are only 2 seconds or so and maybe a minute beforehand the head is just dead weight. They rarely get to 200 degrees with no head. Actually that is the bottom two fins but they are turned down on a lathe.

Don't know. One of them called me one day asking about the throttle return spring rule and what you needed to be legal. I heard they are still coming. They have a R/C dragstrip on the island they live on but I'm not sure which one it is.

I also really like that body, and somehow those foams seem to suit it really well too :D

I want to paint some more bodies, but I have to start saving for my MM 5700, or possibly a Pede XL5. If I get any bodies, neither of those is gonna happen as soon as I'd hope :eek:
