I have been told two different answers.
I have the original Spektrum modual which I am using in the M11 radio.
Does anyone know for sure if I can still use the same modual, and use the Pro series receivers.
I would like to change over to the Pro receivers if possible.

thanks

I don't know if you can mix and match Pro and standard series but from what I understand the difference is a few milliseconds. Is it really worth changing out your receiver and transmitter?

the standard spektrum already operates faster then you can react, why do you need anything faster?

He probably wants to use the new pro receivers as they are much smaller in size.

And the answer is yes , they are compatible both ways. Old receivers , new modules , or new receivers and old modules. They can all be used with each other. In fact you will see a slight speed increase even just by using the new receivers but retaining the old module.

Thank you for the ressponse.
That is exactly what I was looking for, and also the reason.
Because the receivers are smaller.

thanks

brc358, I can testify that a Pro tx module works with the ol' rx module only thing with it is that you dont get the same speed as the Pro rx module. To me the speed difference is negligible.

Both , Tx and Rx pro modules wok on both M8 and M11, tested and proven.

Apparently the Pro Rx module is coated with a waterproofing chemical, anyone want to put this to the test? heh heh
