Heres mine, I hate is when people call bodies "shells" It ticks me off for some reason. Also when practicing at the track, when people drive from the infield.

I have these 2 little girls for neighbors and whenever I run my truck up and down the street, they ALWAYS come to watch - they ask a bunch of stupid questions "where did you get that walmart or superwalmart" and they always want me to run it through their legs. and whenever I adjust it or anything, they have to ask what I am doing and I tell them im richening it and they ask what that means...

you people are going to hate me for this but im saying it anyways! lol

i hate noobs and all the dumb questions they ask. ie. "what car should i get?" i don't mind the what's the difference between...? questions but when someone asks if they should get a nitro MT or an electric TC. come on, get serious! do a little research on your own before poking around expecting someone to just flat out give you an answer to a question they cant answer. i never once as a noob had to ask anyone for help about anything. this stuff is so easy a monkey with a screwdriver could figure it out.

people that gripe about cost. RC is dirt cheep, its everything else in life that's expensive. hell the clothes i have on at the moment cost about as much as a 1/10 scale stadium truck! when you get out in the world you'll learn this. shut up about it already!

kids that watch as you run, ask stupid questions and get in the way. one day im going to snap and take out some kids ankles.

having to order the kit cause the hobby shop only has RTR's in stock. ill quit RC before i buy RTR! i want it built good and i want it built right, not some slapped together assembly line job.

people that ask if its nitro. no its smoking and making noise cause its on fire and broken! i burned a buy with the car for asking that once. he asked, i tossed the car to him after just having run it. he cough it with one hand on the head and burned his hand. teach him to ask stupid questions.

i hate all the up dated/graded stuff companies put out. change a few minor things put a bigger motor in it and put out another version of the same damn truck! half assed RC right there.

im sure there's other things that bug me/piss me off but that's all i can think of off the top of my head at the moment

my radio shack car is faster then your toys r us truck

what are those paperclips for (body clips)

is that gas?

wow thats big (and I have an 1/18th scale)

when you try and sell stuff, and people ask stupid questions, like I was selling a mlst transmitter on another site, and some dude asked is it am or fm, when I said in the post, fm, and then another person said "dude, thats a mini-t remote, no way your getting 80 bucks for that" (and I was selling it for 35), and then someone else said "so I see the mlst is coming with it", I took the picture with my evader in the backround, not on purpose though.

ok ill list mine.
kids on bikes asking me to race them

people thinking the car they baught at radio shack is faster than mine

edit: o and a classic, "is that gas powered"

wow, you just nailed all mine. i have been RCing for about 6 years now and i had to go through every year with the bike racing thing and the signature "is it gas powered?" question. that question never seases to amaze me. i mean, there are like 5 kids between the ages of 5 and 13 that lived around me and the SAME kids would come out and ask that SAME question. i mean, i thought i established that it was gas powered the first time, LAST MONTH.

as for the radio shack one, i have had about 50 people in my 6 years of RC experiance that think their radio shack car is better because "its $300 cheaper and just as fast". NO IT IS NOT. i use to have those radioshack cars, THEY ARE NOT FAST. i think radio shacks fastest car ever made went 25MPH

and as for noobs, i love them. i LOVE to help and share my knowledge, but if they dont show any effort and keep asking the same questions over and over, i get fed up and tell them to leave. i have had some noobs that hand me thier car and are like "here, i cant fix/figure this out, can you do it for me?" and usually i do and i SHOW THEM HOW TO FIX IT THEM SELVES. but its when they dont listen or care that i spend 30 minutes on their car is when i get mad.

At home bashing...

kids wanting to race it on their scooter/bikes etc...

kids wanting to drive it right after saying something stupid as to what they want me to do with it (ooh race that car! go over there! lemme drive it)

"my [insert friend or relative here] has one that goes [insert highway or interstate speed limit mph here]" Sometime followed by:

"[insert department store here] has one that's better than that."

At the track...

retards that turn on their radio without checking (and during races), then whine and bitch when their car goes flying across the parking lot.

morons that walk/drive on the track during races or practice.

okay....lets settle down on getting pissy over kids wanting to race u on there bike..u never did when u were younger?...u never asked dumb questions when u were younger? garenteed u did ask your mom-dad-grandma-grandpa...we have ALL been there so quit whinning over it....

okay yes noobs CAN be annoying and what not but yet...I rember being a noob about 13 yrs. ago running around with my hornet, grasshopper and then FINALLY got a TRX1 and then rc10 buggy and so forth yada yada yada... we have all been there if you cant take time to help noobs then ur just an a-hole that dosnt need to be in this hobby-sport because ur sooo much better then everyone else

not everyone knows what a gas powerd r/c car looks or sounds like(yes its annoying) but does it kill u to say yes it gas powerd (or whatever u say to them)

rember there are kids that cant afford this hobby so dont take it for granit

flame away and lets hear more crying

as for my pet pevs...would be like serp said about ppl. not checking freq's prior to starting there own cars at local races...st dragn said---when comp. just keep coming out with the same ole truck under a new name all the time....oir when lhs is outta stock when its the most popular vechicle ran in ur area and most common prbs...

morons that walk/drive on the track during races or practice.
I never had that problem.

People who think nitro is better, and faster then electric.
When people who race don't know why there car isn't working this is after I tell them how to store or maintain an item. (if they would learn to take care of there stuff, and listen to what I tell them. not how do I do fix this {now the problem is worst**, because I never listened to you. So I tell them that they need a new item, because is broke, shorted out, whatever else you can think of).
People who crash and burn (i.e. break a part, can't finish race), then throw there car at the wall. (these people shouldn’t even have a car).
When you are racing; there is always that one person who doesn't care about anything except keeping you from passing.

carbon I know exactly what u mean [then throw there car at the wall.[/QUOTE] theres a guy that has went to local bash spots "on non race days :) " and last week we had asll out MT's out at a construction site and about 2 hr's into it this guy get pissed cuz he couldnt get his truck to start after it flamed out (needed a new plug) "which I have several "6" spares and willing to give away at no cost to keep everyone running" and yet he proceeds to take his "indistructable" savage and throws it like a frisbee then he goes and gets it he finds out he did a little damge now causing him to go to lhs and disamble and fix i.e-- broken a-arm, some how messed up his trans "jammed" and twisted his frame rails...i just laughed under my breath while thinking what a jack@$$ ......

my top ones are:

-you are almost 16 and you still play with a "toy car"

-people asking if its gas powered (sorry)

-(owning an RS4 and an MT2) is that gas or electric cuz i think your batteries died

-when 5 year old kids say their uncles cousins dads truck that cost a whole $200 can go 25mph (woohoo, i can go 60)

-when people constantly ask you to do certain things with it or ask you about things every time you lay a finger on the car

-when people ask me to take my RS4 offraoding at 50mph

-you spent $500 on a TOY car?

-did you get that at radio shack?

-or when 5 year old kids just constantly talk and talk and talk while you are trying to drive

-oh and my favorite, "can i drive? please? i wont hurt it, i can handle it".............

you get the idea

When I have to dig for the problem they are having they seem to provide little info on the problem. More information is better when asking questions. Tell us what R/C you have in the question because not everyone knows what you have.

A lazy person who use abbreviations in there post not every one is a kid and us older dudes have to read thru the stuff. I quit answering lazy questions years ago and occasionally bust chops for the laziness.

Gather all the info then post the problem then do it with proper English. Organize the thought then post the problem.

Pead off posting well then again you are upset because your R/C broke, calm down organize the thought and post it. I break my stuff all the time and it is all part of playing. Do I get upset with my R/C when I hit something hard and break it not really because it is the way it is.

Complainers who say that one R/C is better then the other. You get what you pay for and one brand is not necessary better then the other because you get what you pay for. Do the research before buying it and then think about how you are going to use it.

If you play hard you will break stuff and they all break then after time parts wearout and require replacement.

i got a few more:
im driving my car the other day and a lady with her son asked me "is that electric powered"
mind you i drive a nitro and it is spewing smoke out the side. w/e tho i love the attention.

a guy asked me what it runs on and i say alchol with a nitro methan addative and with the most serious face he says "o like farts"

and the last one for real this time :D people who drive nitro/electric cars and feel that they have to prove that thier car is faster than the other and act like your dumb for driving the opposite of what they have. cant we all just get along?

SerpentKing101

1. The kids on bikes - only the one I know has the attention span of a gnat. He brings me his radioshack cars that he's trashed the crap out of and asks me to fix it. I'd talk him into getting into hobby-level cars, since they're repairable, but sadly it's WAAAYYYY above his intelligence and ability.

2. Bearings exposed to the elements, like wheel bearings, and the outdrive bearings in the transmission of the losi xxx-t.

3. Crudded up shock shafts, eating the seals and contaminating the shock oil.

4. Brushless motors glitching my AM radio. One day, I'll upgrade

5. Wearing out thrust bearings, which eventually disintegrate.

People ask me, "how fast does it go?". No matter how I answer, they "used to have a car that was much faster". In fact, when I told someone about the video of the car doing 135 mph, "my uncle has one that does 150 mph, it has four nitro engines, one for each wheel". Please.

I hate finding an empty street to run in and then every kid in the neighborhood comes out to ask you questions.
---can I try it?
---can you make it go between my legs?
---can I race it with my bike?
---go faster!
---go over the curb, faster, faster, faster!
---do another wheelie!
---can I try it?
Here's my question, "Do you have a credit card?"

I love kids but.....

1. People who give out BAD information at the track or on message boards.
2. People who treat young onlookers as if they are the plague.(YOU.. yes YOU were that age at one time)
3. People who have no respect for their Rc equipment and treat it like its a "red headed step child".
4. RCers with BAD tempers. If you have a bad temper...your in the wrong hobby.

"can i drive it?"

can i drive it?"

"can i drive it"?

"i have one just like that at home, only this, this, this, this, and that are different"..* pointing to numerous parts, i.e., chassis, engine or motor, depending on car, suspension,......

the ones i like:

"wow!!!"

" thats not too expensive, considering what you get for your money"

"that thing is awesome!"

"dang, you can drive that thing really good"

as for my drifter...they are slow, so of course i let people drive it!!!

I guess its all perspective, if you are a pro driver and race for a living then it is very serious business and you may be able to classify it as a tool and not a toy. I just bought a new snow blower as winter is coming up, when my buddy stopped by I said look at my new toy...even though it is a tool it is a tool that is not actually required therefore its a toy IMO. Anything you need is not a toy, most of the things you want are.

rs4 rally boi

i agree with the toy thing, its a toy in the same respect that a motorcycle, jetski, or ferrari is a toy. unless your using them to make money than its just a realy exspensive toy. but this has been said before. as for the pet peeves, there just little things that annoy us i dont think anybody yells at anyone who ask "dumb" questions they just answer them and keep it moving. so with that being said, NO MORE YOU DIDNT DO THAT AS A KID POST! :D lets keep it nice and negative. :D

Ok I do have a few

1. Yelling Dads-the weekly race series around here is no points, no championship, no trophies yet one of these dads yells and acts like the associated guy is there with a $100,000 check to sponsor someone. The kid and dad both race, the funny part is the 9 year old kid is faster than his dad.

2. Brand Loyalty and preconceived notions-if me or you showed up around here with a thunder tiger 1/8 the "real" racers would laugh us out as it "HAS" to be 777 sp2, xb8 or some other "legit" race car, sad part is Richard Saxton rolled through town a couple weeks ago and gave everyone a lesson, only thundertiger at the track and he had never even seen the track prior to pulling into the lot the day of the race. tq, a main winner 1/8 bug winner of course.

For the most part I really don't mind kids onlooking and asking questions, but there is one thing that gets me. On several occasions I've rolled one of my trucks a distance away and a kid has been watching...and before I know it, the kid runs off to pick the truck up for me and bring it back (only trying to be helpful). The thing is when they pick it up by the *bodyshell*! It just makes me cringe seeing the shell deform under the weight...it's just asking for a split bodypost hole.

And then there's of course when a full-grown adult looks at my silent electric truck and asks if it's petrol powered. I'm sorry, but that's a plain stupid question to ask.

Lastly, I've visted a nearby offroad track before with my race-prepped (yes, race-prepped!) Dagger and I've been mocked for running a "stupid electric" which they seemed to think was childish (they mostly had Marders which, incidentally, they couldn't drive to save their lives). Not jokingly mocked, but actually had snide comments made. Unfortunately that day my radio gear was messing me about so I couldn't even prove them wrong.
Some people are so narrow-minded...

When someone (noob, young kid, or what ever) asks a question about what monster truck is the best, fastest engine, or what ever, and people start in on them saying do a search, this question has been asked a million times. Or my favorite, this is a waste of time.

First off, the noob, young kid or what ever just wants to participate in the forum and don't know what else to ask. If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything. Second, if it's such a waste of time, why are you replying?

I like newbies who are willing to learn by themselves with a little motivation. Everybody needs a little push when they start. At some point none of us knew of the difference between gear and ball diffs, small blocks and big blocks. Newbies who take their R/Cs to the LHS to repair a popped ball joint or broken body post however are not willing to learn and get to my nerves!

"Wow, you could have bought a real car for that!" comment by aunts/neighbours/complete strangers followed by a smug grin EVERY time I tell them how much my R/Cs cost.

"I don't care if it's brushless, it's still a kiddy's electric"
Flat glow starters because you were too bored to charge them and thought they had enough juice
Owning R/Cs noone in you whole COUNTRY carries parts for because you were too much of a newbie to realise how important it is(T-Maxx, Lightning in my case)
Owning an R/C that needs no hopups therefore taking the meaning out of your life (Hyper 7 Pro)
RTRs. 3 of my R/Cs came either RTR or prebuilt to some point and I tore them apart and rebuilt them before running.
Narrow minded brand followers. Sure, some brands are better than others but give them the benefit of the doubt, will you?
Again, the "Is it gas? Where does the fuel go then? Can I drive it? DAD HE WON'T LET ME DRIVE!!" comments.
Hands-on audiences.
Marshalls who have fallen asleep or racers who do not understand that everybody has to marshall at a point in time.
Hacks
"Hardcore racers" who look down on bashers
Bleeding under paint masks - ARGH!
$$$$$ R/Cs in the hands of inexperienced drivers. Nobody was born with driving in their blood and everybody has the right to the best R/C on the market, but it doesn't feel right when a newbie has a better ride than yours :D
Starter box batteries than only need charging once a month but always die when you need your fix of R/C badly
Calling a radio a remote, a body a shell, a chassis a frame and a motor an engine.
Know-it-alls who give bad advice. "Hmm, lift off oversteer? Give it some rear toe-out"
Losing tools only to find them after you used the el-cheapo kit-included ones and mangled your fingers.

There are more but this supposed to be a quick reply :D

Well, that's more of an "online" pet-peeve, but I think the benefit of the doubt should still be given, regardless. It's important to WELCOME fellow hobbyists to R/C, not deter them from it.

Otherwise, they'll be posting here saying, "My pet peeve is the R/C elitists that flame you for asking a question that someone else asked already." :p

people that ask if its nitro. no its smoking and making noise cause its on fire and broken! i burned a buy with the car for asking that once. he asked, i tossed the car to him after just having run it. he cough it with one hand on the head and burned his hand. teach him to ask stupid questions.

1.) One word... "Bling" I'm fine with anybody hopping there's up as a purpose built show vehicle/shelf queen. But that word is like nails on a chalkboard!

2.) Lazy noobs. This is a version of “use the search function,” but in the proper perspective (IMO). Board regulars know the type… The new guy that asks the question that’s come up a 100 times before is ok. I’m talking about the one that a few months from now that is still wanting you to do the work for them, despite the not so subtle hint of “here’s you’re answer… all I did was search for XXX…”

I actually still consider myself something of a noob but here’s the difference… When I signed up for the boards I actually poked around a bit first and learned the layout (in particular where the search button was). And read (or at least glanced at) the forum rules looking for anything that might not be “common sense” general rule.

3.) Some looker on saying “I don’t see how you could spend that much on a “toy car…” I don’t object to “toy,” after all the difference between the men and the boys… What peeves me is the guy in my office that says this the loudest just spent $300+ on a softball bat for a C level intramural league! Go figure…

4.) People that either are “kids” or have kids complaining about other kids with the “Can I drive…?” and the “My dad’s is faster…” Chances are if you’re bashing near your home you’re going to draw out somebody’s kids. Quit complaining and just say that they don’t earn near enough allowance to pay for the parts that they’ll break.

5.) People claiming that what they're selling has been "broke-in by the book" or "never over heated" or some other such nonsense. Then you do a search on that screen name to find their post of "new to XYZ model, over heat during break-in" or "weak WOT speed on first tank, what did I do wrong?"

i really cant stand it when people ask if my truck is electric when it's blowing tones of smoke and it's screaming dowm the street or track. i also cant stand is when someone says "you spent that much on a toy?"

I thought of another one, when they hire people at hobby shops that don't know anything about the hobby. I ask for a part and give me a blank look. Half the time there highschool kids looking for a part time job. One time I called looking for a part for my rusty and the person that answered that phone asked how big of a cockpit I needed, and it was a r/c car only place

i think everyone has hit the nail on the head with most of my pet peeves, such as can i drive it, dads who yell at their kids, or kids who scream at their dads cause their pitstop was not fast enough.

BUT:

The one that drives me absoultly crazy, the dads that teach their kids to jump the pipe to gain a lap or two just because they are racin a woman, (oh by the way, both my hubby and i are racers) that one took the cake for me, in fact i almost quit because of it.

Or

The guy at the local track that thinks he is all of that and a bunch of roses cause he has run in a few pro series races, and that gives him the right to run everyone off the track and shows no sportsmanship.

Oh and another one, when kids thow a fit and scream on top of the drivers stand cause no one will get out of his way.

thanks guys, i needed to vent some of that somewhere.

Oh and another one, when kids throw a fit and scream on top of the drivers stand cause no one will get out of his way.

I had that problem once. It was with the track owner’s son. One person was on his side, but everyone else was on my side. I up by the wall, and he comes up and runs into me so that caused him to wreck (this was on the exit of the turn, not good for passing. I would let him go around down the straight, but instead he thinks he should try to slam into me coming out of the turn). He said I wrecked him, but he wrecked himself. Just because he was faster doesn't give him the right to run me over. Everyone else just laughed about it because he was crying about getting wrecked when he wrecked himself.

I really hate those people who act like they are better then everyone else because they have been racing longer.

Little kiddies can get annoying now and then but they're just kids... when they start throwing stuff at your car is when ya snap :D

I don't hate this, I actually find it rather amusing: when a random kid asks me to try ____ of my RC's and I say no (for obvious reasons :p ) he freaks and starts complaining about how I'm so mean and that he now hates me. What I find funny in that is that every kid thinks that if they ask you to try something, you're obligated to let them try it :D

When they ask if they can try my helicopter, I just give them a strange look and don't say anything... Just a tad harder to fly than to drive your 5 mph Radio shack hunk of plastic :p

Some of them do think that their ______ radioshack / walmart toy RC is faster/better/cooler than mine, even though they're watching it come screaming down the street:rolleyes: I don't think much of it, and sometimes I even ask them to bring it out and race if they think there's is so good. Never hear from 'em again

Most of my pet peeves stem from peoples' ignorance and stupidity ;)

my latest one- damn kid two houses down.....

" my truck is like that...only faster".
thats cool, maybe we can run together.
" mine is faster".
thats good, we could still bash together.
"what kind of battery is that?"
um, a stick pack, nothing special.
"thats different than mine."
oh, whats yours?
"different."
like how?
" mine is flatter. and is 9.6 v..your are only 7.2."
but mine discharge at a hig..........nevermind.
"mine is faster".
go get it, we can run.
"battery is dead."
i will charge it for you.
"it takes special batteries and charger. you have to buy them at a special store, like radio shack."
ok, have a nice day.
"can i drive your truck?"
"well?"
"and my little sister wants you to chase her with it."
Oh look, my battery is dead and i have to wait until next week to charge it again. goodbye.

(The people who ask the same question 1000’s of times, and they don’t like the answer they got so they ask again. i.e. should I get a truck or buggy, but this car has poor radio range, when if they knew anything they would know if they get a better radio to upgrade over the RTR radio they won’t have problems. But yet they can make a recommendation for someone else, and they are still asking the same question?)

Can someone tell me what truck to buy that will go faster, as i have NO CLUE what i am doing!!! thanks :)

Oh, and another....
" my revo is not turning like it should. off throttle, it bites too hard, and on throttle, it pushes. what can i do to correct it? any ideas will be deeply appreciated. thank you in advance"..

then you get the moron that replies with." traxxas are junk". Well, theres some insightfull help. If you cant bring anything of importance or help to the thread, shut up and keep your opinions to yourself!!! the guy is looking for advise, not your opinion on something you probably never owned. I enjoy these thoughts and when people think something is better then others then they really need to back it up with some thoughts on why.

Not picking on this one but give us your thoughts. Why??? Because I really want to know especially after owning 5 Traxxas with very limited problems.

I also own OS, AE, Mugen, Radio Shack, Nikko and have a total of over 15 R/Cs in my collection of toys.

The only thing I dislike about electrics is the operating cost over Nitros. I have 6 electrics in my collection and from experience my Nitro engines last years. My electric counterparts require brushes every 10 to 15 runs and because I do not own a COM Lathe I have to throw the motor away after 30 to 40 runs because the groove in the COM becomes to deep for new brushes. At $20.00 to $40.00 bucks a motor it gets expensive over time. Not to mention a $200.00 buck COM lathe to fix this problem.

I like my electrics because I can run them all year long with the indoor tracks around town and My Nitros are seasonal and only run them 6 months out of the year.

No bigger is better P envy here

At $10 for a closed endbell stock motor which has never given up on my dads car, still going strong after 20 years and keeps up with my brand new stock motor in my car. Not 20 years constant use of course, he had a few breaks, but hey :) This is all offroad, too...

I was at the track a while back and had just recently bought my Revo, I was tuning it in the area behind the drivers stand which is a just open grass. Some old lady came and yelled at me because "Radio toys are only to be ran on the track". Then a couple fo other guys fired up their trucks and started tuning them, which quickly turned into jump off of the little ramp at the back. The old lady started to yell then got angry and left. Turns out that the RC club owns the entire block of land so she couldn't do anything anyway. :P

Another thing that annoys me is when I get done running and people come over to give me "tips". Well that doesn't bother me usually at the track but sometimes it gets annoying. I left my Revo on a picnic table behind he drivers stand with all my tools and I came back to find that somebody heatshrinked my antenna because my cap came loose! He said he was "helping me''. I made him to take it off because the tube was broken anyways. He cut the wire so I got a new reciever out of it too :P This was at a small little track with about 5 guys including me.

Right after I got the truck some guy told me to get off the track because I couldn't drive, and I told him this was my first time on this track with an almost new truck, cut me some slack. He made me get off and ran his 1/8 buggy and cased a double double (his first jump of the day) which he decided to make into a quad. He hit the back of the third jump, and parts went everywhere. He looked at me and the only thing he said was "shutup" People like that annoy me

My biggest pet peeve? Foams. I imagine the guy that came up with those is laughing his a$$ off all the way to the bank. "Hey, I've got an idea...Lets sell tires made out of a sponge! They'll chunk to pieces and wear out after only a couple of runs, and we'll get rich selling replacements!" Brilliant!

My biggest rc pet peeve is calling hobby-grade rc cars toys. It annoys me when someone (like my dad) says, "It's only a toy." Would I have paid $400 for it if it was a toy??? Another pet peeve is Duratrax. I have an Evader st, and i cannot find parts for it anywhere! I am forced to buy from Tower, and that takes awhile. :(

Most towns have noise ordinances that don't go into effect till 8 or 10 o'clock at night. The cops will soon dismiss her(if they haven't already) as a "problematic citizen", and politely tell her there's nothing they can do. :D

1. Tamiya plugs- Everyone knows these things are crap. They are notorious for melting so every manufacturer has agreed to use them. Please lets extend these into the future by adding them to the 4800mah Lipo packs.

2. People who don't apologize for mistakes on the track- If you cost somebody the new track record because you were trying to get a lap back for heavens sakes tell them you are sorry. Last time I checked you aren't supposed to yell profanities at marshalls no matter how retarded they are.
Also accept an apology because you might not get one in the future, thats why I apologize before the race. :)

3. Retarded corner marshalls- You just got mad because you could have TQed if it were not for the 20+ times the marshalls didn't catch your car in mid flip and throw you on the other side of the pipe and here you go thinking you got the best seat in the house for the next race! I know that its not your fault I crashed but you don't have to punish me for it. You know your a bad corner marshall when the spectators yell at you more than once.

4. People who break because they have no idea the basic concept of mantainence or preparation; see RTR. :D

After reading this ENTIRE thread, I'm surprised one thing hasn't come up.

"Did you make that?"

Cause really its complicated. I mean yea its an rtr, but I've taken it apart several times, so even if it were a kit it wouldn't matter... blah blah blah.

"How much does it cost?"

Again, complicated. RC18T is only 160, but then I'm running brushless/lipo/fm radio, and over time a grip of parts... So how much have I personally spent on it, a LOT.

i just got a new pet peave, i was at the track and it was practice time. there was me and 2 other guys on the track, and ofcourse, no turn martials, after all, whos job is it to martial a practice? anyway, i cought up to a guy and going down the strait-o-way, he starts to loose it and i am RIGHT behind him so i serve to miss him and my 2 tires go over the tube and i get stuck and the guy infront of me flips over from doing a side ways drift and hitting a bump. so this is where my new found pet peave is:

i call it "the racers friend". the dudes friend runs out to the track as fast as he can and flips his "friends" car over. so he is standing bout arms length from my car and he looks at it, pauses for a second, then runs off the track. i am like "THANKS ALOT BUDDY!" i mean, its no ones job to martial a practice, but when you are THAT close. i mean, i was just stuck on the tube, all he would of had to do was push it with his foot. what do people think when they just get their "friends" car and not the guy their friend hit
