I plan on calling Fine Design RC tomorrow to work out everything i need to convert my LSPR into a brushless monster and ill hopefully be purchasing a setup on Monday or Tuesday :D I saw a LSPR, 2 Jammin CRT's, and a LST2 which were all Fine Design done and they were INCREDIBLE  The power these things had were almost too much.......
Im hoping in 2 weeks ill have a fully RTR brushless LSPR. Is anybody on here running there gear or has dealt with them? I talked to one guy today(cant remember his name) that worked for Fine Design and he seemed really cool. Plus his LST2 was extremely powerful!!! All of them seemed to run very consistant with minimal problems. The LSPR had cogging problems during his first qualifer but he seemed to work it out for the rest of the race.
Any advice or feedback about there customer service? Thanks :)

I think if you have enough skill, you could proably do one yourself :D
I converted an HPI MT2 too brushless, it was pretty easy, and it is a killer

yeah I wouldn't deal with finedesign again. you must really like the 4wd buggies. saw you traded your mf2 to kyle for the another xxx-4. Also the bje should be sweet i am sure mark will have it all dialed for you.

I'll put my Jammin up against the Finedesign *stuff* any day... I think mine ond some others on the forums are superior to what they have done. Better layout and design, better motors, better speedos, less money.
I wouldn't throw money their way to make it happen. At least check out all the conversions on this forum and rcmonster's.
Truggies are easy to convert. Buggies are a little more work to do it right. I haven't seen finedesign's truggy (they don't show much on their site which makes you wonder...) but I don't like their buggy at all. They just stick a fat brick battery off to the side and put the motor where the .21 was. Wow, genius....

Yeah I plan on trading Kyle but for his XX4 :) Im just waiting to hear back from Mark about the BJ4 and im hoping to get it on Friday. Im gonna try to get there early so if i buy it i can throw my novak in it and run it that night :D
But if i dont do that i still want to convert my LSPR to electric. Im not worried about getting a motor, esc, or batts...that can all be figured out later. The main thing that is holding me back is finding/getting a motor mount and battery hold downs. Does anybody know where i can buy these? If i can get these pretty easily im definitly down to do the conversion. Oh and making the mount is out of the question.
Ive checked out the few other threads on people converting but most seem like people just made there own.

The only "tough" part in doing a truggy is making the motor mount.
Some have modded a Emaxx motor plate... that's the easiest. Anyone with a dremel could do that one.
The only other custom work is mounting the batteries. The easiest options are associated battery cups or velcro straps. Gorilla velcro straps do the job and look good.
Servo, speedo, etc si pretty much standard r/c required work.
I may be able to make a couple motor mounts like I use, but I'm in no position to start making a bunch of stuff... my stuff is hand crafted (not perfect) and takes me a while. I already run my own biz. and don't need another. :D

Well ive held off on the BJ4 for now. Just picked up an Airtronics M11 w/ Spektrum Pro setup. On top of that i began the truggy conversion. So far i just took everything off that wont be needed. I still need to take off the brake pads as i will be using the esc/motor to stop the truck. I cut the graphite servo deck to only hold the steering servo so there is no going back now :D I can probably begin figuring out how im going to mount the battery, which is most likely going to be a Lipo, and where to mount the esc. I cant do anything with the motor right now until i get a motor mount. Here are some pics so far and of course there is a pic of my new M11
