Hey guys,

I recently bought a fun piccolo and so far its not being very fun. Here's the issue:
I get the batteries charged, check everything to make sure its properly working, and start to power up. As I SLOWLY power up it just randomnly cuts the power and the little red light on the Piccoboard goes off. I can never power it up past 50% or so. This is extremely frustrating, and hopefully you guys can help. I have flown it(and crashed it), so it could be a number of things I suppose.

Any ideas? I'm willing to try anything.

my bet would be the piccoboard. micro electronics are notoriously bad.

ehh sadly unles you have advanced electronics knowledge, the only fix is to buy a new one. Most people go to seperate electronics because of this. the main thing that blows up the electronics is not cutting the power before a crash.

damn. well thanx a lot for the help. what would break on the board? the gyro? Im just wondering if theres any way to rebuild this board because im not going to get too much further into helis if i have to pay 200 bucks everytime i crash. freakin college budget...

Most likely any transistors / MOSFETs on the board, among a bunch of other things that have a maximum rated current before they go...

I think it would be easier to just replace the piccoboard - it'll save you a LOT of trouble trying to repair the other one.
