xxx-t mf2
Mamba Max (5v BEC)
Futaba digi 3050
Futaba 3pm fs PRO (synth, HRS)

It seems the the steering is slow.

Since i just assembled it, i am testing it while suspended- no load on the wheels/servo.

I have the EXP up, ST servo speed is @ 100%. Futaba has it rated at .20 sec @ 4.8v. I tried it on Normal and HRS just for kicks; same.

Steering to either side is marginal, and one side to the other is pretty slow, like a L then R, or, R then L.

There is zero binding and the entire steering mechanism is buttery smooth and "free" w/o the servo connected.

Now, i am coming from 1/18 and also i race mini-z's, so i am not sure if i'm a bit spoiled with the speed of the smaller scales steering, but it just doesn't seem right.

What could it be? Should i anticipate it steering faster when moving? I am concerned.

.20 sec is pretty slow really it will work fine when you are moving

i hope so. i will see today after i glue the tires.

also, about the speed- that is about the best for any of the digital futaba servos, especially in that size and weight of approx. 1.6oz. keep in mind that is the rating at 4.8V, it's @ ~5v from the BEC, not 6V.
