I just started using my Chrome Touring 9x2 motor and that darn thing is fast!
But I keep having this recurring problem, my motors stop running after a few runs. It looks like one brush is shorter than the other and the shorter brush's surface where it meets with the comm looks a little burnt and the overall appearance looks goldish/yellowish color to it. Plus the shorter brush side has arcing in it when i push the brush in with a screwdriver. The other brush looks fine, shiny surface/brickcolored(i don't know how to describe the normal color) look. Just a little bit shorter than normal.
It took about 4-5 runs for this to happen. And this has happened to my other brand 9x2 motor.
Is this a normal occurence? I thought motors like these should last more than 10 runs. Any help would be appreciated. It starts to get expensive when you gotta keep buying new brushes, springs, and even motors.
