whats the point of using gyro on heli???i dont quite get it just yet....

The gyro corrects for slight movements in the tail due to wind and stuff, to help ya manage it. Without a gyro, you would be a very busy pilot, and have to have a very fast left thumb. lol If ya really want perfection, get a heading hold gyro. They keep the tail pointed in the same direction you left it last, no matter what else happens, or until ya tell it different. Guess theres a compass in there... Just kinda spendy is all, but worth every penny I hear... Dennis Flora

Here's a good demo for ya. Turn on the tx, then turn on the receiver, let the gyro initalize, then rotate the heli in any direction (left/right) and watch the tail rotor closely. If it's a varible pitch tail rotor (belt or shaft driven), you'll notice that the pitch of the tail rotor blades will change as you turn the heli quickly in either direction. If your heli has a tail motor, when ya turn the heli in one direction, the tail motor will start up and try to bring it back to where it was... it won't do anything in the other direction...
