Is there a class for electric riggers? :huh:

in a word, yes. at least as many classes as hydro's and mono's. not sure think they go from 4 cell up to 32 cell.

go to namba.com resources tab, and d/l the rule book. section 28 covers electrics(tho irrc sec 17 is worth reading too)

Hey, thanks but i read the whole rule book and i didnt find anything on electric outriggers.

riggers are allowed in the "hydro" classes. N-hydro, P-hydro...etc. the "sport hydro" do not allow riggers, they are meant for scale and semi scale hulls. N-hydro, and P-hydro are probably the most popular for riggers.

btw...riggers are probably not the best place to start with FE racing. mono's will be easier to set up and run. hydroplanes have a lot more variables, and unless you have a club nearby or a friend who is experienced in setting up a hydro, you'll have a hard time getting it to run right. my first 2 FE boats were riggers, even with prior experience with nitro mono's and tunnels i had a hard time figuring them out.
