Blue Groove offers 5 styles of wheels, all machined from solid billet for a precision fit and feel. Adapters are included for Spektrum, JR, Airtronics and Futaba radios. The Pro Grip improves control, reduces fatigue, installs without glue and doesn't slip, says Blue Groove. Available in four colors as shown.

Looks a little strange (the grip), but I can see that design working nicely. I wonder if you can get just the grip alone?

Form follows function, definitely! Looks pretty good :)

I bought one of the grips at iHobby. I really like the feel.

That grip style was popular 15 years ago.. I had one on my Futaba PCM Magnum Sr.

Same here. Rebirth of the Kimbrough Grip. Had one on my old-school Futaba Magnum Junior circa late eighties. Welcome to the past.

The 5-spoke wheel looks OK, but the rest seem to be designed by their workshop intern.

Want to offer something worth our attention? How 'bout some styles that mimic popular alloy wheels? Or something that evokes existing racing wheels from F1, Nascar, etc? Come out with a replacement wheel embedded with a built-in countdown/countup LCD timer at the center. Or simply an adapter that'd let hobbyists use any 1/10th hex-hub on-road wheel as a Tx wheel!

Something's stagnant with the industry when the end-users come out with fresher ideas than the manufacturers. :teacher:

Now that I like! May be a little big though...

In all honesty I think the aluminum just adds to the cost, and it's not really needed as the material for the wheel, but hey

i think the manufacturers think of this stuff too but most of the projects probably get shot down b/c too much cost and not enough profit.
:teacher:
but I agree, this industry does need more innovation, particulary in the tc and 4wd class.

The scalloped grips are awesome. I used one for oval and off-road for years. The place I didn't care for it was for super-tight indoor racing, but I'd give this one a try again.

I agree, but I dont know if its for the same reason as you...

When I'm driving on road I let the wheel of the TX slide back to center after I come out of a turn with a bit of pressure from my fingers for control.. I don't think this these would work well for me on a on road course.

I'm going to try it again. It was dialed for oval and off-road racing. They are also the best thing you can buy any new driver who has the old turn and let go habit.

I'd also love to see a black NASCAR style transmitter wheel.

I never really thought of it that way, but usually when I drive my cars I have a good tight grip on the wheel at all times - I very rarely let go of the wheel.

This will improve grip, for sure, though. I might try one, after I get my truck. I can see the benefits of one in off-road racing (or just off-road in general)
