Here are some sneak peek photos of our new test model. A review will be in the Feb. 2007 issue of MAN.
This little speed demon from Kyosho has a 45mm EDF unit and is said to fly at 70mph. We'll be test flying it next week! So we will hit it with our radar gun to see!
It has a 24 inch span and weighs only 350g. (12.3oz.) ready to fly with a 840 3-cell lipo pack, two servos, A Castle Creations Phoenix 25 ESC and Spektrum DX6 radio gear aboard
The motor and fan unit come with the kit and is an inrunner brushless motor attached to a 5-blade impeller. Sorry, no spec info yet on the motor! but it draws 11 amps on 10.7 volts and puts out 157 watts per pound.
So stay tuned for more info!

This give a better idea of how small this rocketship really is!

Is there any more info on the exact speed of this jet? It really looks like a nice model.

Sorry no, I have flown it several times, but don't have a radar gun to check speed. You could check with Kyosho USA. I suspect several jets have now been sold and there are other reports floating around.

I read your review and it sounds like a great choice for a jet. Do you have a video of yours flying?

There is a video on the Kyosho America website if you want to see it fly. Not sure if Gerry did video on the maiden flight.
