New Product Alert!!!!

Heavy Duty Rear A-arms for Electric versions of the
Traxxas Rustler & Stampede

#80182 Rear A-arms – Black
UPC#672415801826
#80185 Rear A-arms – Blue
UPC#672415801857

Two weeks ago, we released our front A-arms for the electric versions of the Traxxas Rustler & Stampede with a promise to have rear A-arms ready shortly. The wait is over! Our rear A-arms are complete and ready to ship! Not only are our A-arms stronger and more durable than stock versions, but we’ve also managed to eliminate over 7 grams of weight per arm! That’s 14 grams of unsprung weight eliminated with a single pair of rear A-arms! Coupled with a set of RPM front A-arms, the total weight loss exceeds 24 grams or almost a full ounce! We accomplished this without creating any weak points nor are our A-arms any more flexible than the stock versions. Additionally, we’ve adjusted the shock mount locations slightly to allow more noticeable tuning adjustments when using the inner or outer shock mount holes (while the center hole remains in its stock location). While we were at it, we eliminated over 0.030” or 1/32” of slop from the inner arm mount and more than 0.010” or slightly less than 1/64” of slop at the outer hinge pin for an ultra-smooth, slop-free suspension system.
RPM A-arms for the electric versions of the Traxxas Rustler & Stampede are molded in either blue or black and are sold in pairs – 1 left rear and 1 right rear per package.

Suggested Retail - $10.95 / pair

Electric Stampede & Rustler Front A-arms
RPM front A-arms for the electric versions of the Traxxas Rustler & Stampede are built to withstand some of the toughest abuse. Incredibly, we were able to shave some unwanted unsprung weight as well. RPM Front A-arms are nearly 25% lighter than stock versions of the same A-arms, yet the RPM versions are backed with our world-renowned breakage warranty. Additionally, we’ve increased clearance areas in the outer portion of the A-arms to allow increased droop travel when used in conjunction with RPM oversized bearing carriers (RPM #80372 & #80382). RPM front A-arms for the Electric versions of the Traxxas Rustler & Stampede are sold in pairs and are available in either black or blue. These A-arms are molded with what is fast becoming an RPM trademark design of angled leading and trailing edges to reduce frontal edge mass and improve the a-arm’s ability to ride up and over tall obstacles instead of slamming into them. RPM A-arms are extremely rigid for superior ride and stability over the roughest tracks and terrain.

Pretty cool, though personally I've never had durability issues with my truck's stock arms. I'm sure some people will try out wide conversions with these new rear arms.

They look kinda goofy but I think their biggest benefits aren't in durability but removing suspension slop (and perhaps reducing weight). That and they'll match my bumpers and carriers. Its amazing how the Rustler has remained a resilient backyard machine. I've had mine for years and there are still hop-ups for it... Its not the fastest truck out there, but I'm pretty sure that you can't get a better basher.

Too bad there are only three mounting holes on the rear arms... I need more than just three on my Rustler. Not necessarily any of my Stampede's, but I have a couple of shock set-ups that require more holes further out like the stockers (I run rear arms all around).

a definite must have for me, just for the cool factor, plus the blue ones will match the blue ones on my RC10T2.hopefully the B4 gets blue arms made for them.....

Could have always used the front arms for the nitro rusty/pede made by RPM on the electrics..

Sure, but they were shorter. Therefore, one would need new camber links and turnbuckles. The holes may be different to, but don't quote me on that...

If nothing else, these look a lot more modern than the arms Traxxas puts on the trucks. They're certainly stout...I've yet to break my stockers, but I put the RPM ones on tonight anyways. They look better and they're lighter.

I think RPM uses a different material than what Traxxas uses anyways; which happens to be lighter. They advertise that using their A-arms all around will shave almost an ounce off the total weight of the truck compared to stock too (unless they're lying...).

I don't have a way to weigh them. Sorry man.

Most of the time, RPM does use a bit more material, but in same cases, it's not necessary. Have you seen Stampede arms? There are no holes...it's a solid piece of plastic with square bracing running throughout. It was mainstream 15 years ago...but today...ya...RPM's arms look more like suspenion arms.
