bumps opens this sunday at 1PM for open practice, some of us are meeting up for a cash race starting around 2:00 - 2:30PM. its $5 to use the track and $5 more for the pot, HOWEVER, we are just doing this for fun, you can STILL come just to practice and run for fun. the cash race is just between some friends, however, anyone can join in if desired too.

Normal scheduled race is sat. Doors open at 12. races start around 2-3. Nitro and electric welcome.

Race schedule is changing to sunday racing.

I had my first race lat saturday. I finished in third against 2 other good drivers. There were 4 in the truggy class but the 4th guy was his first race. I moved into first place at about 3 laps and held it for about 5-6 of them and then I messed up pretty bad. I never did get caught up to 1st and 2nd. I think we all finished on the same lap and some of were battling it out for several laps. It was a great day.

not a bad race day, wish I could have driven better, but of course I need to work all the bugs out, then I should be pretty decent. That engine seems like it still has a lot of power the few laps I did, easily clearing the back section.

Holiday race today.


Friday the 22nd -- First Annual Merry X-mas money
race!!!!! Race fee is still $15 dollars $5 next vehicle.
(2 rounds of heats and then a Main)...I will then give
back $5 a person. This money goes into the pot (per
class). Payout will be $3 per person in your class for
first place (Main only), and $2 per person in your class
for second place (Main only). Another words, 6
buggies = $18 first -- $12 second.

The more you spread the word -- the bigger the pot!!

The new Mugen just keeps getting faster every time I run it. I set a new personal best lap time last night. 20.6 seconds. Still a long way from Don's track record of 19.29 but I'll take it.
