I know the motor would be very weak. But will it fit? I dont plan on using it for more then 5 min in the buggy. Just want to make sure everything else on the buggy checks out. I will be getting a new motor as soon as funding allows.

Sorry If i sound stupid Im more of an electric guy trying to break into nitro.

Thanks
TQ

Im only bothering for a few min. I dont have the cash right now to go out and buy a big block (I do plan on it though). I just want to know if I can put it in there for a few min. so I can make sure everything else about the buggy is working fine.

I know the motor sucks. I know it wont hvae any power. All I want to know is if it will go in there.

TQ

If you are using the stock LX motor mountr, it should be possible.

lol,but still, a big block, doesnt have a huge price difference, between the small block. Im sure there is a really cheap .21 out there u know.

READ his previous responses, this is to see if the buggy is in ok shape mechanically, he already HAS the small block. So $0 against ANY $$ for a BB is a big difference. He is going to get a BB later, not run like this normally.

If people had actually read the posts, this thread would be 3 posts long and not a banter of get a BB

If the mounts fit on it you still need to figure out a exhaust header setup, as a smallblock the ports smaller than a big block. Does your buggy have adjustable engine mounts?

I have an OFNA Blazer, basically a truggied ultra GT LX, If you have the stock engne mount you should be able to slide the 2.5 far enough forward that the clutchbell should make it to the spur. For the exhaust, you will need a 2.5 exhaust header, turn it over so it sits on the left side of the engine, and then for the pipe you will need to figure out a way to get the exhaust to go out the left side.

Good luck with it.

But will the flywheel work?

If you don't like the advice you've been given - quit gripping and go try it if you have the 2.5 sitting in your house.
