Body looks like it got beat with an ugly stick until the stick broke... also, nice windshield doubling as a pull start holder.

Looks like a great nitro to learn off of. I think this would be great for those dads out there that want to get their 7 year old kid a nirto buggy to start off with. But I have to agree with awnelson, the body is hideous.

i hate it when u have that much stuff sticking out the pull start and fuel primer??? i can see that thing getting broken off in a second otherwise neat buggy

So why does Tamiya come out with all of these cars, but only a few of them are made for racing?

IMO it is because tamiya (offroad any way) has by now developed a reputation for bashers that belong with rustlers, not losi's and Associated's, and once you have a reputation, it is very hard to convince racers that you are now "for real" and a competitor in the racing scene. if tamiya feilds a lineup of winning racers and can win 2 or 3 in a row over bj4's and yoke's then they might be taken seriously, but until then the offroad racers won't see anything else but 80's vintage material and performance.

That and the RTR market is much more profitable.

Slightly discomforting body, but the buggy should be a fantastic platform to learn from. That, and it is probably indestructable :).
