Trying to get a few road cars or trucks for some parking lot racing on saturdays and sundays, already race at Notre Dame h.s. lot in niles, looking for a few more cars to join us for a regular thing before it gets too cold for the season. thres are a couple of rs4's and a couple of savages already tearing it up. feel free to join the underground chicago racing myspace group and post other parking lot races at - http://groups.myspace.com/undergroundracingchicago

actually been racing at notre dame h.s. in niles lately just east of dempster and millwaukee usually on sundays as weather permits. im running a hpi rs4 in the large parking lot, its pretty smooth. I also run my hpi savage there, there is some alright off roading, nothing spectacular though, just a whole lot of room and a few huge hills and jumps. the high school lot is usually completely empty on sat and sun all day, and weekday evenings and has a ton of lights. security and the niles police have no problems with us racing there and usually just come watch and ask questions about it as long as it is before 10pm-ish. there is no set time or day for the h.s. racing, just when ever we all get together we race as long as it is somewhat empty. There is a group that goes somewhere in busse woods on sunday around noon, i think if you jump off rt53 at higgins and go east to arlington hgts. rd and go south to beisterfield (I think) and find the furthest south entrances its one of those, south west entrance i think. been meaning to go there but just been racing at the h.s. so havent been yet. anyway if you end up going repost with the info and how it was if you find them they said they would be doing some winter racing so it is still on i guess, let me know if you want to race at the h.s. , what are you running? rs4 - 2 speed - os .12 cvrx / savage -.25

Sounds cool. I'll try to make it out on a Sunday to either the H.S. or Busse. I live in Bloomingdale so Busse would be closer so I might try that first. I was just in L.A. for two weeks and ran at Sun Valley there and had a good time :)
I normally run a 1/5 electric bike but do have an Inferno 7.5, HPI MT2SS, T4 and a TA RC18B. I'm normally just bashing around in parking lots with my electrics since they are quiet and nobody complains but I'm itching to get the nitros out again :)
If the weather is good next week I'll try and make it to one of the locations. I'll post first before going anywhere.

That's why most of us race. It's more fun than bashing. Check out www.leisurehoursraceway.com and www.chitownrc.com
