I'm having difficulty getting my tmaxx to go into reverse. It seems that after a hard run it will go into R but if I'm just cruising it wont. I pulled the tranny and the shifting rod moves with no problem but when its back in the truck it won't slide in and out easily. Any ideas?
Check the servo for full movement. Keep truck off, put into reverse and then try to push the linkage to see if there is any more movement that can take place.If there is adjust linkage or recenter servo arm for full engagement.

The servo has full range of movement. I tried taking off the linkage and moving it by had but it is very difficult to move while in the truck. If I take it out of the truck it mooves freely.

When you take what out of the truck, the tranny? and the reverse linkage moves freely. If it does it is binding somewhere somehow.

I agre with wl6. There is a bind somewhere. Have you checked your chassis to see if it got bent?
