I have a savage 25 and I was just wondering my truck keeps stalling when I go past 15mph do you think this has to do with the temperature outside. Right now its 40 is that too cold to run it.

it has to deal with tuning, you have to tune every time you run the truck, its not too cold to run, its just above freezing here and i just ran mine for voer half an hour

Yeah you just need to tune for the wheather basicly. I run my rc's all year round. Even when the temps get down into the 20's. You may want to wrap your cooling head in aluminum foil to keep temps up if it's really cold out. And remember that plastic is more brittle in the cold and you should be ok.

You say your engine dies when you go past 15mph. Dose it bog down and die? You could be running a bit lean if it is. It wouldn't hurt to make sure you glow plug is good also.

Like after it dies after a 5 minute run it sounds like it bogs and what should I wrap my cooling heading around with. I dont need a glow plug becuase the guy at my hobby shop tuned mine. Another problem is that it takes a second for it to launch becuase when I pull full throttle b4 my problem now it would rev up then launch. but after then run it sounds like its bogging like bubbles are poppinmg it weird.

even though the "guy at the hobby shop " tuned yours it still probably needs tuning because i am guessing he tuned it to the summer and to me it sounds like your clutch is slipping check your clutch because i was runnin my jato and my savvy in the snow at 5 below and they had no probs you just have to tune them and i was runnin mine in 6in of snow and i would check your glow plug anyways

No he just tuned mine last week and put in a fresh glow plug and this is the second time for me to run it.

maybe u have bad o rings, when u turn the screws is it easy, any tension? and i would go back, and make them tune it, they should really tell owners that things are bad like the o rings when there tuning them.

tell them to teach you to tune it, tuning can vary an extreme amount even within a few hours

Yes this is probably the best thing to do, instead of paying those stealer shops( not hobby shop) :o

Sounds likea lean bog maybe. Remember you must richen the needles for cooler conditions. The cooler denser air needs more fuel....
