This is more of an "Online Check Out This Car" than an "Online Build" since the raven BX is an RTR, but who's counting? Good looking body, and what's this--clear windows on an RTR? Very nice. The rear tire choice is unusual; the low-profile, flat-carcass, fine-tread design comes straight from the racetrack, but most buyers will probably run the BX on much rougher terrain. I plan to install a set of Pro-Line BowTies.

Note the rear chassis braces. There's room to move the battery fore and aft, but a foam spacer block is not included. The hardware is unusual; the threads are 4-40, but the hex heads are 3mm.

A 1600mAh battery is included. The wires are very stiff, not the soft silicone-jacketed variety. Beginners won't care.

The B4-style slipper clutch uses a metric-pitch gear, but standard B4 gears are a direct fit. The transmission has a 3-spider gear differential similar to a Tamiya diff. The crosspin axle design accepts standard Losi and Associated wheels, but the axle is a little longer, so you'll have to put a spacer under the nut so you won't run out of threads before the wheel is tight.

The Tazer 15T speed control can handle motors down to (you guessed it) 15 turns.

The suspension is fully adjustable (those are turnbuckles, not merely threaded rods), and the threaded aluminum shocks are standard. The damping is ultra heavy, no doubt in anticipation of big-air basher abuise.

The rear suspension remains intact when the tranny is removed. A toe plate holds the rear arms, and the entire rear clip can be removed with the transmission, just like a Triple-X or B4.
I'll start hammering on the BX after Thanksgiving, stay tuned!
