View Full Version : Tamiya hi lift radio question
Can any hi lift owners out there tell me why the hi-lift requires a 4 channel radio? I checked the Tower Hobbies site and it said a 4 channel was required. Is this for the lights or multi-function unit add-on kit that Tamiya says will be released soon? If a 2 channel will do okay, I'd like to save the extra loot and go with full bearings. Please help. hi-lifters! Thanks for all reads and replies.

to change the gears you need at least a 3 channel radio, and the 4th channel is for when the multi function unit comes out.there is a build up thread and another F350 thread on this site that will give you lots of info,or go to the forums at www.tamiyaclub.com
thanx for the reply dallas. debating between getting a dell laptop(1000bux) or a hi-lift(roughly 600 w/bearings). believe ot or not, the wife would rather i get the hi-lift! got a super clod, txt-1, juggy 2 and 2.5 t-maxx all that have never been run the first second. much as i love tamiya hi-lift the laptop is calling out loud.

yes get the laptop instead, u got lots of RC vehicles having a nicer computer is better then adding to ur collection since a computer is more essential these days.
Im 14 and at high school i think u need a laptop in order to pass, or pass over a 60.
