Good morning, guys!

I'd like to change my P2K's brushes and I need some help.
What kind of brushes I can use to replace the old ones?
:)

Hmmm, well the 4499's are not too bad on the comm(at least not as hard on it as 767's), but other than that, I'm not sure. The main thing in a non-racing brush is to stay away from excessive amounts of silver(which is very desireable in a racing brush). Just ask around the local shops for brushes with more copper & graphite(& little or no silver content, silver is what makes a brush really wear on the comm, but it's also the best thing for absolute power, so racing brushes use as much as they can). I know Reedy has a 760 brush that may be ok, but I don't remember what Trinity's low-silver brushes are(though as I said, in a pinch 4499's are acceptable, you just have to keep an eye on the comm & keep everything clean)..... :)

I just went to the lhs today and bought direct replacements for my P2K Pro, they were 2.50 for a set...

Well, assuming you're racing with it, the best brushes to use are either Trinity's 4499's or Reedy's 767's produce the best power, but they are both racing brushes, so there will be a fair amount of wear on the comm using them..... :)

The ones I refered to as "E" brushes are also called 4499's & are what came in your motor, unless it's one that was put together during the brush shortage. You can get them with an eye on the end of the shunt or without. Hope this helps.
