It might be a modded Bandit, it sure looks like one. I'll try to see if I can see a tamiya match. casue I seen one like that from tamiya too.

i looked at the ultimas, but i cant find any pictures of how the battery is mounted. Does anyone else agree this is an ultima?

It's one of the beginner Ultimas that Kyosho put out. You can tell it is a Kyosho because of the distinctive yellow wheels and the plastic black shocks with the metal caps. It could even be an Outrage but I'm not certain.

I'm pretty sure it is an Kyosho Ultima. Since i have the original Optima and they both share some of the same parts like the rear shock towers, etc.

Why do so many people reply when they don't know the answer?
That is an Kyosho Ultima II. I have one of them. That one looks to be entirely stock except for the motor.
Kyosho also used that exact chassis with shorter shocks and shock towers + some on-road wheels and released a series of 2WD on-road cars in the early 90s. These included a Nissan 300ZX, Ferrari F40, Corvette, Porsche 911, and I think a couple others I'm forgetting. I had the 300ZX.
