Are these just wheelie machine or can they handle some off-roading as well. I've always liked them and I want to get one. Any info on these would be great, thanks guys!

that was my first real rc. insanely easy to build. theyre great for wheelies, but they do have a high cg so theyre not the best for off roading, although they are insanely strong

If I buy a kit, will I have to paint my own body and driver?

body comes dyed olive green, the driver comes dyed white, so its up to you. you can drive it without the driver and it won't look too rediculous

The Wild willy is designed for wheelies. Not really an OFF Road run for fun truck. You can... but you will probably be chasing it to put it back on its wheels alot.
Traxxas Stampede or Rustler would be a better choice if you are looking for inexpensive durable run for fun.
Emaxx is your best bang for the buck though.

Wild WIlly was my sons hero for 2yrs ... He beat the living life out of that wheelie machine and it came back for more each time .... True about the Stampede or Rusty . they rock also ....... Have fun with Willy I say ....
