I think this thread will be specially useful for those that do not have a well stocked hobby shop, or no hobby shop at all nearby... And also for those living outside the U.S., where it's important to find out who can ship to international locations.

big inventory? (has most in stock usually?): the main items are usually in stock but if it is not in stock, can shi[p usually very fast and for good prices.
how do they handle sales? (secure shopping cart / email / phone / fax): mainly through there website and e-mail. not sure about phone numbers as the e-mail correspondence has been very fast and relable
