I have done tire glueing in the past and did so so my new FT T4. When I did the glueing.. I did not use the foam inserts. I could not get them to mount properly.. either not inside the tire all the way or too much on one side or not enough on one side. I have read other posts and articles about tire glueing.. but not alot on how to insert the foam so that it is "true" inside the tire. Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Mike

Try cutting (beveling) the inner and outer edges of the foam. This is most important on the inner diameter of the foam. Doing the outer edge is optional. Round the outer edge and you'll have a rounder tire. Leave it and you'll have a more square tire shape. The real key to seating the foam properly is to just take your time. Place the foam in the tires and pull the tire and foam out of the way as you slide the rim on. Then slowly work around the tire as you reposition any of the foam insert that got bunched up. I hope this helps. Good luck!

For getting the foams in the tires evenly, squish the foam in there, and the using the thumb of one hand and two fingers of the other, pull the tire apart gently, rotate the tire, and pull again. Once the tire has spun around about two rotations, the foam should be seated perfectly. See below pic. I hope this helps.
