It's a brushless Kenmore. Washes twice the loads in half the time. And has virtualy no maintainence.

Actually, thats the dryer. The tumbler is hooked to a 3 spd. trans from a GST with a 4 shoe clutch, running a .46 with 33%...it shoots the clothes out at speed, folds them in mid-flight. Makes your laundry chores seem fun!!

( i have a matching set, washer and dryer both work perfect, so why get rid of them?)

Very nice Pede. I just ordered the black one yesterday for myself. It will be my first Pede, how do you like the new version? Whats the pros and cons of the Stampede?

hey Shadow,...

This is 'Pede # 4 for me, i owned 3 of the first gen. models. I really havent had much run time with this one, due to the snow. IT will MOVE tho! Cons for a Stampede? It cant do laundry....

Honestly, the Stampede really is an excelent all around truck. There is really nothing it cant do at some level. As for the new Stampede, i will give ya my knowledge on what i have seen.

the new truck rolls on 4.80 tall Talons, as opposed to the 4.75 v-tread. Not much difference in hieght, but keep reading where it might play a role. Both new and old versions use the 272 magnum trans, however, the old truck, geared wit an 87 tooth spur, and 18 tooth pinion, was geared for the stinger motor, a 20 turn. The new pede, 86 and 19 respectively, but with a faster motor. This raised more than one eyebrow with me, as you know, rule of thumb is, lower turn motor, gear DOWN!, not up! So, we have a 2 teeth difference overall, and a tick taller tires, and a much hotter motor. Result? People throwing the included 23 tooth pinion on , and SMOKING either the motor or ESC, due to gross over-gearing.

Now, i have ran around the house with a 3300 pack, and neither the motor, or ESC has gotten beyond a little warm. Thats great, because that usually builds heat. The 50% trainer mode is awesome, and works nice. Unlike the old ESC's, the new XL5 uses the set-up button as its on/off switch, ( nice touch) and uses a throttle/ brake, let off trigger, THEN reverse feature, i like that.

The new white springs are a bit stiffer than the previous red ones, and that makes for some on-throttle push, or understeer, but overall, doesnt hurt it too bad.

Watch your gearing, keep your slipper set correct,( mine came a tad too loose) and go over the truck with a screwdriver before you run it. Other than that, have a blalst with it, its a great truck.
