Teemu Leino Wins GP World Cup
Factory Team Orion driver Teemu Leino, in his debut race as an X-ray factory driver, showed that he still has what it takes to win races at the international level. After qualifying for the World Cup class with the fastest time, Teemu racked up four heads-up victories at the CRF Circuit outside Lausanne, Switzerland.
Fellow Team Orion factory driver and World Champion, Andy Moore equaled his four victories, but the Championship went to Leino due to the tie-breaking procedure (faster World Cup qualifying round).
Teemu was unable to compete in the Lords final due to irreparable car damage. Andy Moore capped a fine weekend with a win in this fun race for the top-10 World Cup finalists.
Congratulations on your inspiring victory Teemu!
