Traxxas aluminum stub axle carriers add both strength and beauty to Rustler, Stampede, and Bandit. In addition to the durability and precision of the machined billet 6061-T6 aluminum, larger 5x11mm ball bearings are included for smooth performance, reduced friction, and long life. Rubber seals on the bearings make them virtually maintenance free. Two anodizing color choices are available, fire-red or brilliant-blue. RPM's are still cheaper, therefore a better deal IMO. While they do look nice, I just assume use plastic...

Very nice!! I would consider getting a set of these for some bling if I didn't already have the RPM ones. I'm sure other Traxxas owners will like them. Nice job Traxxas.

Yeha way overpriced considering the guarantee RPM has all your getting is the "bling" factor.

I want those, in blue!!! I would get RPM's but they only come in black....

RPM Carriers = $8.99
5x11 Bearings = 5.99 x 2 = 11.98
RPM Carriers + 4 5x11 Bearings = $20.97
These show as $33.25 on www.horizonhobby.com. How is this way overpriced?

They're probably not too badly priced. You can get some nice hybrid bearings for $1 from Avid though, so plastic is much more economical...

I bet the traxxas rubber sealed bearings are higher quality though ;)
You're right though you can get bearings for cheaper but if it's only 12 bucks difference or so, it'd definately be cool to have the aluminum.
I still don't know why it took them so long to put this on the market.

I don't know... Avid makes some good bearings! I run Team Blue Star bearings personally...
