Hey, guys. I have a B3 buggy and I typically run it on dusty smooth concrete. What I currently do is sweep the area, use Dirt Hawg tires and use Paragon tire traction compound around all 4 tires. It works alright, but my friends stock rustler with wide pin configuration tires seem to gril quite a bit better than mine. Do you guys have any ideas on which tires would be good for my situation? I'd rather not go with anything slick, due to the fact that I also go on gravel sometimes in the same runs. Thanks.

Well, I read the subject and was going to suggest Dirt Hawgs, so I'm spent. I would like to know though, once I get my XX4 running it's probably going to be mostly on similar surfaces. I already bought Dirt Hawgs expecting them to be the best.
I was just thinking about it, and I now realize why the Dirt Hawgs aren't very good and the pins do better. The Hawgs have too much contact area and it just gets coated with the dust, while the pins have a decent contact area but it's not enought to get a lot of dust stuck to them.

Correct. That's exactly the problem. I am thinking maybe some step pins would be good, or maybe something with an even wider pin configuration. Any other ideas in particular? or even compounds?

I pin tire will have more wear. It is a trade off. I think the mini spikes would be the best. Something with a lot of smaller spikes that increases surface area. Have you tries somethin like taper pins? Also if you can find a traction compund that keeps the tires from loading up. I know different sauces have different effects on tires.

yeah, the paragon stuff works real well. Basically nothing left on them after a run or two. I was thinking the step pins/taper pins would maybe be a good idea. Maybe even something with larger and more spread out spikes like the speed paw. Any other thoughts? thanks :)
