having recently aquired an immaculate pro3 my old electrics are going into it, not knowing anything about electric rc only thing i know is how to work on the car.

im going to be using the car to drift with, it currently has a 99t spur and i dont have a pinion to fit, i think the gearing is to tall whatever pinion i put on it. So using sanyo 3700nimh, 21x2 motor and a nosram magnum reverse esc what do you think i should opt for with spur and pinion sizes

Thanks Rich

I would suggest finding the stock gearing either in the manual (if you have one) or on the web. Start from there, and go up or down as needed. If the car has too much torque and/or not-so-great top speed, go up a tooth or two. If it has sluggish performance and the motor heats up quickly, go down on the pinion. If you have any more electric questions (since you are new to electric) please do not hesitate to ask.
