Here a peek at what's going together in my office. it is an all foam MiG-29 from TeeRific Jet Models. Wemotec fan unit, with Castle Creations Thunderbird 18 ESC fed by a TP 1320 3-cell lipo pack

Here are some details. The air intake ducting is vacuum-formed and I used tape to seal it up against the foam sides of the fuselage box.
There is a solid carbon fiber rod at the break line where the wing panel "droops" are folded downward. I used BSI foam safe CA glue and kicker for all the building chores.

Been working on lunch hours and finished the MiG-29 yesterday. Ready for test flights next week! I used an old Monogram F-4 Phantom Jet model for inspiration and came up with this sport military sand and spinach desert camo scheme. I used the Tamiya quick drying aircraft paints (foam safe) and shot the belly with Luftwaffe light blue, then used USAF Sand and Nato Green. on top. The red stars are vinyl as are the A/C numbers (also the radio frequency) on the side of the intakes.
Can't wait to get this puppy in the air!

only had a chance to fly once because of weather so still have to run the model through its paces. Here's a lucky shot!
More to come!

Here are some pix from the test flight! Model is very stable and has great slow speed and high-alpha flight performance! A wide speed envelop!
