I am going to be making a custom full rollcage r/c car for late model circle track car. I am planning on running the open class. I don't have the money to run a brushless, but I will probably be getting a 10-12turn motor when I find a deal on one. Most people at our track run electric, but I eventually wanna make a nitro one to. I have a spare nitro motor lying around ready for somethin.
I was waundering how many if anyone uses posi's? I have an old Kyosho car that the rear end is a posi rear end. a-arms and all. Not sure if i should go that way or not. I was gonna try to rig it up to run electic motor with it because its actually a nitro car.
What kinda rear ends people use? I don't have a front end assembly yet for mine. Anyone have ideas for a front end assembly? I am trying to get parts, but on a tight budget so I can at least start mockup.
I was thinking about a RC10GT rear end I think people said were good ones? If anyone has any parts they wanna donate to me to help me get this project started I am willing to take. I am also willing if anyone has a rear end with a-arms it can be a gutted tranny that I can use for mockup I would love that. I will send it back after I am done if you want it back. If not thats fine just need some advice on what kinda components I should get for this.
I race fullsize dirt track racing and I am basing the entire frame on a real car as close as I can. I think I am going to be building a custom body to.
