Is power loss to the transponder a big enough issue that Novak needed to create this product? I don't race 4 cell at all so someone please respond that has some experience with this.

It's not always a problem, but it can be in some applications such as long 1/12-scale races.

Probably not on stock or 19T 12th scale racing...but on MOD...very high chance ppl are getting dumped at the last minute or 30 seconds...even for PROS.

If you are TC racer, you will rarely hear ppl complain about AMB miscounting due to under voltage cause we run 6 cells. But if you race 12th scale with 4 cells on some 19T but mainly MOD race for 8 full minutes...that is a very known problem....AMB personal does not work very good when under voltage/amps....but I don't remember what volts/amps. I race only stock/19T...
