This is the first Divco I painted.
You'll notice the nose isn't trimmed and the backup lights are the only ones inlaid from the inside out.
Those improvements came about while making the Green one.
First the body is well sanded with 220 and all the windows and wheel wells are filed out and sanded.
Once again things start off with drilling the holes for Headlights and Taillights, dusting with Adhesion Promoter followed by Shimrin White basecoat, and then topped with SnowWhite Pearl.
The fenders are then shot with Kandy Brandywine and then covered with a light coat of Intercoat Clear for taping purposes.
The fenders are taped off and the whole thing is shot again with another coat of Shimrin White topped with SnowWhite Pearl and followed with Intercoat Clear with a heavy dose of Interference Red Pearl-Ex powder.
This Interference Red looks like White Pearl from one angle and has a Pink glow from another angle.
The sides are taped off and the roof, hood and rear are shot with Intercoat Clear and a heavy, heavy dose of Brilliant Gold Pearl-Ex powder to contrast with the Pinkish glow of the sides.
Then she's decalled, set with Rhinestones, pinstriped with Gold foil tape, and trimmed with chrome on the front and rear windows.
The Flame graphic on the roofs of these two is courtesy of FlaminGraphicz.
They both started out as a black flat flame that I altered and filled with a psychedelic display.
It's been embossed and shadowed in PhotoShop to add a 3D look.
