I was building a ARF when the thin CA I was using spilled on the monocoat. I wiped it off but it left a white film. Is there a debonder or something that I could wipe on to remove it? The model is the Great Planes Yak 54 E and it has clear monocoat so it looks kinda nasty. The spot is about 2" x 3". Any help will be appreciated! :)

try some of the same brand "Debonder". I have used this material and it works really well. I used (Zap brand). Basically place the model surface level and apply a thick amount over the CA blemish. Soak a paper towel with the debonder and place over it as well. Tape in place to hold it against the glue. wait over night and wipe away the residue. reapply a few more times until the surfaces is clean. It works well but takes time!

Thanks! I just came back from my LHS with the debonder. I'll let it soak like you say tonight.

Please post your results. I usually figured I was outta luck when that happened.

I haven't had the time to soak it but I tried to rub some in with a little success. The debonder is red like after run oil and it changed the color of the ca on the monocoat to light red. After rubbing it in, it did remove some of it but not the really heavy spots. I haven't had the time to do it yet, maybe tonight I'll give it another try. I think it might work if I let it sit overnight, we'll see. I'll keep everyone posted.
